Happy Friday! Yesterday we celebrated the coveted “May the 4th be with you” however, there has been breaking news, ahem rumors, coming out of the Disney vaults this week.
One that I have been personally rooting for years! 🔮
Haunted Mansion Restaurant?
Those that are Haunted Mansion lovers know how much the ride means to them. For me, this was the ride that got me into Disneyland. Sure Mickey Mouse is great, but it is the Grim Grinning Ghosts that really got me pumped up. Circling back to New Orleans square, when my family and I visit the park The Blue Bayou is a must! Even if it is just for a cold drink and sharing a plate, I love the ambiance inside of one my favorite restaurants.
The Haunted Mansion has an allure that remains timeless. With deep rooted colors, haunting music and a colorful history; a cafe or restaurant of sort would be a money machine for Disney parks.
This could all be hearsay at this point; and it probably is. The rumor was sparked by an individual on a forum stating that “let me again spell out that a new Haunted Mansion eating venue/experience is coming to the [Magic Kingdom].
The Haunted Mansion is comprised of three different structures spread across Disneyland (origination), Magic Kingdom and Disney Tokyo. All three are comprised of a different experience yet still helms the core foundation. Entering a majestic home filled with secrets, spooks and 999 haunts has remained unhinged.
There has been not so much as a peep from official representatives of Disney, however they should most certainly dabble on this idea.
I for one have already blueprinted my own Haunted Mansion revelry that consists of naming the dining structure “Gracey’s Manor” with some unfortunate souls invited to the Gracey Manor for one last dinner (insert evil laugh). The entire restaurant will be dimly lit with the decor serving as hanging portraits. Menu items would consist of Chilly (served during winter time), Madame Leota’s Mozzarella balls, Hobo Soup (Chicken noodle soup with fresh boudin sourdough), Doombuggy cupcakes and well you get the picture.
As more details unfold, we will unveil – after all this is my favorite ride!
Did you see the ghost sighting at the Haunted Mansion? You need to see it for yourself!
